Young Eddie

Young Eddie is a high-energy, people-loving young cat with a big heart and an even bigger purr. He truly wants to be part of your world. If you are home, Eddie will happily be right there beside you.<br/><br/>Once he feels safe, Eddie becomes a full-on cuddle bug. He loves being held like a baby on his back, cradled in your arms, where he melts into you while purring loudly. When cuddle time is over, he is perfectly happy being placed on a soft blanket where he will curl up like he is about to drift off to sleep.<br/><br/>Eddie is incredibly affectionate and actively seeks out connection. He leans into pets, rubs against your legs, especially when food is involved, and genuinely enjoys being close to his people. He is not a nearby cat who just hangs out in the same room. He wants real closeness, attention, and love.<br/><br/>In new environments Eddie can be a little shy at first. It usually takes him about a day to feel comfortable, but once he settles in his goofy and loving personality really shines through. He has a sweet, slightly clumsy little brother energy that makes people laugh and fall for him quickly.<br/><br/>Eddie is also playful and curious with lots of energy. He loves to chase, climb, and wrestle and would do best with another young playful cat who can match his enthusiasm for games. He currently tries to engage his foster’s older cat in constant play, which sometimes proves to be a little too much for a more relaxed adult.<br/><br/>Because of this, Eddie would thrive in a home with another playful feline companion. He may also enjoy a calm, cat-friendly dog who wants a buddy to play with. He has done well with teenagers and is very people oriented once he warms up.<br/><br/>Eddie can be timid when first arriving in a new home and may hide in small spaces while adjusting. Giving him a quiet introduction space and blocking off crawl spaces or tight hiding spots will help him settle in comfortably.<br/><br/>He is a sensitive, loving boy who bonds closely with his people and animal friends.
