Yoko's Story

Yoko, thankfully landed in our hands after spending years in a cage under the supervision of another organization. Our shelter manager asked to have her transferred to another of our locations where she could roam free from the confines of a cage. Yoko had difficulty accepting the cats around her when she was allowed brief periods of freedom at the shelter, however her "cattitude" has changed greatly since being allowed to stroll the Foster House when she wants, where she wants. She is now living in harmony with all the other mom cats and older kittens, sunning her "ample" little self by her favorite window spots. Her calico "cattitude" extends to her allowing her "servants" to pet her when she nuzzles them, length of petting time to be determined by her mood at the moment, lol, however, if you're fortunate enough to be one of her chosen few, you'll be the most favored human in all the land. Her best match would be a low activity household where running to her food bowl would classify as her daily exercise. Please consider visiting our couch potato cat in New City, she is not at the shelter, she's in foster care in New City, please contact Nixie at gentlesouls@aol.com to schedule a meet and greet. You won't be sorry! :)
