YoYo's Story

Yoyo's Journey: The Tiny Boss Who Never Stopped NappingOnce upon a time, in a house full of fosters and older resident cats, there arrived two very tiny kittens. One of them was Yoyo, a goofy little ball of fur with the most adorable face and a pair of eyes that seemed to have a mind of their own—crossed, but perfectly functional. Yoyo wasn’t just cute, though—he was on a mission. A mission to conquer every room, every cat tree, and every nap spot he could find. He had no idea that his journey was just beginning, but his tiny boss energy made it clear he was ready to take on the world. From the very start, Yoyo had a confidence that was impossible to ignore. Despite being smaller than the other fosters and surrounded by older, more experienced cats, he strolled around like he’d been there since day one. He didn’t hesitate to pounce on his foster brothers and sisters, much to their amusement. His silly, cross-eyed look was no match for his hunting skills. Whether it was a fly buzzing by or a stray piece of string, Yoyo was always on the hunt. He’d leap from one perch to another—first the cat tree, then the couch, and sometimes even the windowsill. His aim was nearly perfect. Okay, maybe he missed once or twice, but who’s counting? After all, even tiny bosses need a little room for improvement. But when the day was done, and Yoyo had exhausted his energy from pouncing and playing, he would curl up somewhere for a nap. And Yoyo’s nap habits were as famous as his silly eyes. It didn’t matter if it was a pillow, a chair, or your lap—if it was a place to sleep, it was fair game. He’d fall asleep almost instantly, purring softly as he snuggled in, as if he’d just run a marathon (though, in reality, his biggest accomplishment that day was catching a fly).As he grew a little older, Yoyo remained true to himself. Still goofy. Still a tiny boss. Still the king of naps. And while his vision was perfect, his personality was even clearer: gentle, sweet, and always ready to make his foster family smile with his antics. Now, as Yoyo continues to grow, his journey isn't quite over. He’s still a tiny boss, still a goofy kitten who’s just getting started, and still the nap-loving, fly-catching, cross-eyed charmer we all adore. But his furrever home is out there waiting for him—where he’ll become the boss of a whole new kingdom (and continue to claim the best nap spots, of course).Yoyo may still be on his way to finding his family, but the love he’s brought into his foster home is already as big as his heart. And whoever is lucky enough to adopt him will have a tiny boss, a goofy kitten, and a cuddle expert to love for years to come.Is it any wonder Yoyo is so confident? After all, he knows a good thing when he sees it... and he’s been the good thing all along.<br/><br/>Please note:<br/>- YoYo is shown as a Siamese Mix based solely on his appearance. We rarely take in purebred animals, so virtually all of them are a mix of several breeds. Do not make an adoption decision based only on our breed designation, especially if you are concerned about allergies.<br/><br/><br/>For more information or to apply for YoYo, please go to:<br/>https://www.cathouseonthekings.com/adoption/cat.php?id=27045<br/><br/>[id=27045;ts=1766188834;src=pf]

The Cat House on the Kings's Adoption Policy
The Cat House on the Kings selects adoptive homes at its sole discretion based on the needs and best interests of the cat. Therefore The Cat House on the Kings reserves the right to deny any adoption application. The adopter must be at least 18 years old. We adopt on a first-come, first-served basis. To hold a specific cat you must make a deposit of the adoption fee by calling (559) 638-0490 and then make an appointment to pick up the cat. The deposit is refundable if you ultimately decide not to adopt the cat. We screen prospective adopters before they come to our facility. We require cats and kittens to be kept indoors at all times. We discourage declawing (and can advise on alternatives). We do not adopt small kittens to families with young children. The adopter must pick up the cat in person from The Cat House on the Kings sanctuary or off-site Adoption Center. If you live outside Central California, you will have to travel to our adoption center in Central California where the cat is being cared for. To ensure the safety of the cats in our care, we will neither transport or ship them nor will we allow a third party to pick up the cat on the adopter's behalf. We may make an exception on a case-by-case basis for an immediate member of the adopter's family. If this requirement is not acceptable to you, please do not submit an application! If you choose to travel from out of the area to The Cat House on the Kings and adopt from us, you must agree to accept 100% of the financial responsibility for the care of the cat(s) and that if something does not work out with the cat(s), you will be responsible for returning the cat(s) to us safely at your expense. (We do not have the ability or financial resources to travel out of the area to retrieve our cats.) If this requirement is not acceptable to you, please do not submit an application! We require both a photo ID & proof of current address (e.g. driver's license or recent utility bill). We ask that people who rent show proof that pets are allowed.
