YING's Story
Ying is a 5 1/2 year old domestic shorthair cat, who returned to our rescue after the local county animal shelter contacted us. Five years ago, he was adopted out to a loving home, but when the owner passed away, the family and put Ying outside to fend for himself. A kind neighbor has been feeding Ying outside, but recently he was attacked by something (possibly a coyote), and lacking funds to help him the neighbor brought him to the county shelter. His right back leg was severely mangled, and required many stitches. He is on the mend now and his hair is growing back, but he should be kept as an indoor only cat from now on. He is such a loving and playful boy even though he has been through so much. He’s a big boy at about 14 pounds. He is neutered and current on all vaccines.
