YAYO's Story

➡️WE DO NOT RESPOND to Petfinder Inquiry (not enough volunteer time)
➡️Please Read Bios
➡️Email with questions
➡️Thoroughly complete the adoption application LINK provided below
➡️Our cats are considered MISFITS most people would not desire. This means they have quirks you must recognize and be able to explain how you can and will embrace them. We take placement of them seriously and want the very best match for both kitties and humans.

🏎️ Meet Yayo: The "Shotgun Rider" Looking for a Pit Crew of One

Yayo spent the first nine years of his life as a barn-catio resident, but he always knew he was destined for the fast lane. When he finally traded the barn for the rescue life, he had so much "zoomie" energy he didn't know what to do with himself. Then, we discovered his secret passion: The Open Road.

🛣️ The Highway Legend
For years, Yayo was the ultimate traveling companion. While other cats hide under the bed at the sight of a carrier, Yayo was buckled into the passenger seat like a furry co-pilot.

The Route: Tractor stores, pet stores, adoption drop-offs—if the wheels were turning, Yayo was "riding shotgun" and loving every second of it.

The Speed Bump: After a minor van accident, Yayo decided he’s officially retired from the professional driving circuit. He’s traded his "Road Warrior" status for a much more important role: Professional Cling-on.

💧 The "Happy Leaker"
Yayo has a very unique way of showing he loves you: He drools.

The Leakage: He literally cannot contain his joy. When you pick him up or give him scratches, the floodgates open. It’s not gross; it’s just a "Liquid Love" indicator that he’s reached peak happiness.

The Hugger: He doesn't just "accept" pets; he participates. He will jump straight into your arms and give actual feline hugs. He is, quite possibly, the world’s greatest cuddler.

📢 The "Chatty Roommate" (With One Tiny Catch)
Yayo is a big talker. He has opinions on everything—the weather, the dinner menu, and why you aren't currently hugging him. However, Yayo has a very strict "Highlander" Policy: There can be only one.

The Animal Ban: Yayo is a solo artist. No dogs. No cats. (Maybe a house chicken, but even then, we’re skeptical). He’s tried making friends, but it always ends in a "feline brawl."

The Big Personality: Because he’s a lot of cat to handle, he’s looking for a home without children or elderly folks. He needs a sturdy, confident human who can handle his "explosive" love and his occasional spicy side.

📋 The Yayo Dream Home
Human-to-Cat Ratio: 1:1 (or 2:1, as long as all humans belong to him).

Environment: A quiet space where he can be the center of the universe.

Amenities: A lap that doesn't mind a little drool and a human who speaks "Fluent Cat."

Seasonal Perks: A safe, enclosed catio for sunbathing—minus the car rides.

Yayo has spent years yearning for a "person" to call his own 24/7. He’s a big, loud, hugging, drooling ball of love who just wants to be your one-and-only.
