Yale's Story

Hello, I'm Yale!

I'm a shy kitty who's still working on getting used to humans. I'm looking for a cat savvy home that will help me blossom into the best adult cat I can be. While it may be hard to resist my adorable little face, please remember that we kittens require lots of time, energy, and attention while we are still learning the ropes and exploring our environment! I would do best with another social cat in the home who can be a mentor for me and show me that humans are cool! Come ask about me today!

I would do best in a home where my humans are willing to give me time and space to be able to adjust to my new home, at my own pace. I would love to have another "mentor cat" in the home who can show me the ropes. When given time, our bond will become unbreakable and we will have the best life together!

No appointment necessary!

Meet me at AAWL's Main Shelter!
25 N. 40th St
Phoenix AZ 85034
602-273-6852

Adoption Hours:
Monday - Closed
Tuesday - Friday & Sunday - 11:30am - 6:00pm
Saturday - 10:30am - 6:00pm.

AAWL requires that all adopted dogs leave with a leash and collar and all cats leave in a carrier.

All adoptions are on a first come, first serve basis. Adopters must visit one of our adoption centers to meet the animals they are interested in and speak to an adoption counselor. Once a match is made, you will complete the adoption paperwork, pay the adoption fee and purchase any retail you need. All dogs are required to go home with a leash and collar. You are welcome to bring your own, or purchase a set in our retail store. When bringing a collar from home, if it is not the right size, you will be required to purchase one that fits the dog appropriately. If you have a landlord, please review your lease policy to verify any breed restrictions or weight restrictions beforehand.
