Yahoo's Story

Yahoo is one of our social media kitties - don't ya just love it!

Yahoo has a bit of a sad story on how he came to be with us here at GGOH - he was left in a box at the end of a farmer's driveway with his three siblings and his momma. His momma got spooked and jumped out of the box and was hit and killed by an oncoming car. The farmer was witness to this but there was nothing he could do as he couldn't get to them fast enough. So here they were, four homeless and motherless kittens in need of help. What were we to do - we immediately said "yes, get them here as soon as you can". It's terrible that such a senseless thing had to happen but we can't dwell too much on Yahoo's past because we need to focus on his future. Our sweet boy Yahoo needs a home!

Yahoo is a pretty energetic kitty, as most kitties are. He'll run the length of your halls and chase laser toys, balls, and feathers for hours if that's your fancy. He plays great with other cats and would love to be adopted with one of his siblings (or another) if you have room for two. One thing to mention so you're not too taken by surprise when you meet him is that he has a slight wiggle-wobble when he runs, and sometimes, if he gets going too fast, he will stumble or tumble when he jumps for a spot on a perch or any higher surface for that matter. It's not a dramatic balance issue and we don't really have an explanation for what may have caused it (his siblings do it too so possibly genetic but could also have been caused by something they were exposed to) and it's not a physical problem for him. We just want you to be aware, that's all. Once you meet him we know you'll agree, that this little quirk just makes him all that more unique and lovable.

Yahoo is a little more on the cautious side when it comes to new people/strangers, but give him a little time and you'll see just how fun and sweet he can be.

Yahoo's DOB is approx. 8/8/21.

If you'd like to meet Yahoo, please take a moment to visit our website to review our adoption process and requirements and to schedule an on-site visit. www.ggohinc.com
