Xena the warrior princess. Don’t let the name fool you. When it comes to sweetness she is top teir. She will bounce to you to greet you like you are the best thing in the world. She will rest her head on your shoulder so you know she trusts you. Her black coat is silky which makes you just want to pet her all day. She doesn’t mind other cats she just wants to know she is loved. She is great with kids. She hasn't been introduced to dogs, but with her personality her foster couldn’t see it being an issue with the right introduction. Xena loves to explore but if you can’t find her she is probably on her favorite person's bed. Xena is spayed, microchipped, FVRCP vaccinated, and has tested negative for FeLV and FIV. !!! It is the policy of Desert Paws Rescue that all potential cat adopters complete a Cat Adoption Consultation Form and an interview with a Desert Paws representative in order to be considered as a forever home for our cats and kittens. Completion of the application and interview process does not guarantee an adoption approval or guarantee the adoption of a particular cat or kitten. Desert Paws Rescue is a privately run, all-volunteer, non-profit organization and reserves the right to refuse any adoption that is not in the best interest of the cat or kitten, based on our principles, policies, and standards. Desert Paws Rescue will determine the best home for each cat or kitten based on the application and interview process. After review of the adoption consultation form and the completion of the interview with a Desert Paws representative, Desert Paws Rescue may recommend a different cat or kitten that is more suitable to your household.
