Xena endured trauma as a kitten, including an accident that left her with injuries to both back legs. Thanks to time, healing, and love, she’s come a long way—and now she’s ready to find a patient, understanding home where she can truly blossom.<br/><br/>Though shy at first, Xena is a quiet observer who loves to watch the world from a cozy spot nearby. She may not be the first to seek attention, but once she feels safe (especially during nap time!), she enjoys gentle pets and affection. Her sweet, cautious nature makes every step forward extra special.<br/><br/>Despite her reserved demeanor, Xena is still very much a kitten at heart—she adores playing with toys, chasing treats, and romping with other friendly cats. In fact, she’d do best in a home with a confident feline friend to help show her the ropes.<br/><br/>If you have a calm home and a kind heart, Xena could be the perfect match. With patience and love, she’s sure to become a loyal and affectionate companion.<br/><br/>* We do not allow same-day adoptions. * This is because we want our adopters to consider the committment of owning a kitty. We are also a volunteer-run organization. We do not always have someone available to process the adoption agreement and medical records at the time of the in-person meet and greet. Thank you! <br/><br/>What is covered in our adoption fee?<br/><br/>Mario's Paw felines come: Microchipped, Spayed/Neutered, FIV/FELV tested, UTD on age-appropriate vaccines, de-wormed, and flea-treated. * We do not permit any feline to be adopted without receiving a spay or neuter surgery. *<br/><br/>In addition to the above, your adoption fee helps us cover supplies, admin costs, and vet bills that arise with all of the kittens that come into our care. We take in many medical cases that require extra surgeries such as eye enucleations and amputations, specialist visits, and imaging.
