Xavier's Story

Meet Xavier — the resilient tabby with a wild spirit and a heart of gold.

Xavier’s story began in the Lil Abner Trailer Park in Miami, where he grew up as a stray kitten surrounded by the sounds of demolition and uncertainty. When the park was scheduled to be torn down, rescuers rushed in to save the cats who called it home. Xavier was only four months old when he was found—tiny, frightened, and nursing a leg injury. But even then, he had that unmistakable spark in his eyes. With time, care, and a lot of love, he made a full recovery—and he’s been making up for lost playtime ever since.

Now a healthy one-year-old, Xavier is an incredibly affectionate, outgoing boy who fills every room with energy. He’s the type of cat who turns life into an adventure—chasing toys, zooming through hallways, and “hunting” lizards through the window with laser focus. He thrives on interaction and would be happiest in a home with another playful cat who can keep up with his energy and join in his daily games.

But when the excitement fades, Xavier’s softer side shines. He loves curling up next to his person, resting his head on your lap, and purring himself to sleep. He’s gentle and patient during vet visits, travels well in a carrier, and truly wants to be close to his people.

Because Xavier can get a little mouthy when overstimulated, we recommend a home without small children—but he’s an absolute sweetheart with adults and other pets who understand his playful nature.

If you’re looking for a loyal, affectionate companion who’s equal parts cuddle bug and clown, Xavier is ready to fill your home with laughter, warmth, and love.

? Located in Miami, FL.
? Available for transport throughout Florida and to select U.S. airports.
? Interested in adopting?
