Wynter's Story
Wynter was a kitten here at Darby’s. She was adopted 4 years ago to northern Carroll Co but recently dropped off at the Montgomery Co Animal Control facility with a story that didn’t match her adoption. She has been very gentle and friendly since I got her back but very timid, too. She is now coming out to meet me when I enter the bathroom instead of hiding, but I think she needs a home that isn’t too challenging. Like no boisterous small kids or overly friendly dogs.

update - Wynter is feeling safe and is super gentle and friendly. Turns out she licks your hand if she’s unsure, but once she trusts you she just squirms around for more cuddles.

another update - Wynter has fully settled in. Gets along with everyone now. In retrospect she seemed traumatized when I got her back. Not sure what happened to her, but she is no longer scared of everything.
