Wynn's Story

Do you dream of winning over a cat who makes you work for it? The kind who doesn’t hand out affection like free samples at Costco? Then allow us to introduce Wynn. He’s the definition of “on his own terms,” a cat who believes trust should be earned, not given, and honestly, we respect that.

At first, Wynn treats new people with the same suspicion most of us reserve for unexpected phone calls, but once he decides you’re worthy, he turns into a total sweetheart. So much so that his foster mom has a hard time catch quality photos of him because he is always rubbing on her legs for attention and pets. While he may be cautious about humans, he’s all in when it comes to exploring every nook and cranny of his world. He’s a great house cat and a champion litterbox user. He is the king of both cats trees and cat beds. He also loves to play with toys and with his cat roommates. He loves other cats, whether its snuggling in a bed, giving each other a bath, hes down for some kitty cat lovin'.

Basically, Wynn’s the cat version of a “slow burn romance.” Stick around long enough, and he’ll be the one purring in your lap like you were meant to be all along.

He won’t make a great first impression. He’ll probably hiss at you from the corner at least the first handful of times you meet him. Obviously, we’ll still let you meet him before adopting—but don’t expect instant love at first sight. We promise though, he is worth getting to know. If you’re ready for a quirky kid like this, fill out the adoption application below.

https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSdy9NUdRzsagXgNJ7xhCHp5LZnTUYFxN-2jh4HgXKTou9k-tA/viewform
