This handsome boy loves being petted, and having his cheeks scratched puts a big grin on his face! He enjoys napping on the desk—preferably snuggled up next to you—and sleeps on the bed with his people. Lately, he’s even been creeping closer to enjoying a warm lap! <br/><br/>Kringle loves chasing strings and feather toys, but his true passion is soccer. He often practices all on his own with his favorite little foam ball. ⚽ <br/><br/>As kittens, Kringle and his sister Clarisse had a very rough start. They were kept in a crate in a basement with no handling or socialization. When they arrived in rescue, they were essentially wild. Thanks to the patience and dedication of our volunteers, Kringle has made an incredible transformation—from a terrified, distrustful cat into a sweet boy who genuinely enjoys affection. <br/><br/>Kringle is still “working on himself” and would do best in a quiet home with an adopter who has previous cat experience. He is not suited for a home with small children, as he can become overstimulated and may nip at hands when he feels unsure. That said, his cuddle sessions are lasting longer and longer, and we are hopeful that once he feels truly safe and settled in his forever home, this protective behavior will continue to fade. <br/><br/>Despite his difficult beginning, Kringle is ready to return affection tenfold.
