Wright's Story
Meet Wright, a 5-month-old bundle of energy and an adorable little girl with a huge sense of adventure! According to her foster mom, Wright is an elite athlete in a kitten's body. She is an expert climber who has managed to find her way into every plant in the house--even the ones tucked away on high shelves! She is incredibly active and playful, and she isn't afraid to scale a human "mountain" just to get closer to your shoulder. Because of her curiosity, her adopters will need to be careful with their houseplants and ensure her environment is "kitten-proofed" for a little explorer. Wright thrives on interaction and movement. We strongly advocate for kittens to be adopted in pairs because having a "kitty buddy" provides a safe outlet for all that climbing and wrestling energy. Wright would be happiest in a home with another friendly and active cat. A companion helps a kitten like Wright stay mentally engaged and teaches her important social boundaries through play. We will only permit her to be an only cat if someone is home most of the time to keep her entertained and safe, as kittens at this stage need frequent interaction to grow into well-adjusted adults. To ensure she has a safe environment to grow, any children in the home should be at least 5 years old and know how to be gentle. She would also likely do well with a cat-friendly dog, provided they are given a slow, patient introduction. If you're looking for an active, affectionate, and spirited companion who will keep you on your toes, Wright is the girl for you! Her adoption fee is $250.

*To visit our cats, you must make an appointment on-line at www.caringforcatsmn.org/adopt.*

Note: While we are happy to respond to your questions about any of our cats, you will still be required to make an on-line appointment at www.caringforcatsmn.org/adopt if you wish to meet our cats.
