WREN!'s Story
MEET WREN!

At around 8 years old, Wren joined us from Philadelphia's animal control shelter after being surrendered due to both of her owners passing away within a month of each other. Wren was left alone for some time in the home so was a bit skinny, but she's well on the road to recovery. Wren came out of her shell so quickly once out of the shelter and has blossomed into an affectionate, social little cat!

Wren is a petite Torti who will likely always look younger due to her size. She's an easy-going, low-key girl who loves to spend most of her days napping (same) but she'll never sleep through a meal. In fact, she'll remind you when it's time in case you forget. She adores getting attention from her foster family which includes older children, and even enjoys being picked up and snuggled. She has been introduced to other male cats in foster care and gets along with them well! She is a bit scared of the dog in her foster home and will hiss and hide when she sees her but otherwise tries to mind her own business. We think she'd be happiest in a home without dogs.

Wren has been vetted since coming to the rescue and has been diagnosed with a heart murmur which should be taken in consideration if she were to need anesthesia as she continues to age, but requires no treatment at this point. She had a couple no-good teeth extracted which leaves her tongue popping out at the cutest times (most of the time) while the others are in decent shape for her age. Consider adopting this pint-sized sweetheart!

Wren is available for adoption through City of Elderly Love. She is spayed, vaccinated and microchipped. She is also FIV/FeLV negative.
