Working Cats - Fee Waived, We Deliver's Story

These barn and shop buddies often come from a hoarding or a 'backyard breeder' situation. Often they have not gotten much attention and are very timid and slow to trust people. Some will approach you for pets but do not want to be handled otherwise.

They get along great with each other and other shelter cats, and we can watch and hear them playing often. They are comfortable in one of our community rooms, but it is time for them to have homes of their own.

These cats may be happiest in a barn/shop environment, or being inside/outside cats, where they could interact with people if they want to, but otherwise can be allowed to have their space.

If you are willing to give one or more of them an opportunity, we are willing to waive the adoption fee for appropriate homes. Our preference is to place 2 or more for a barn or shop situation since they are social with each other, and are more likely to remain at the property if they have a buddy with them.

We will waive the adoption fee for the right homes. Our normal adoption application process applies. However, we are willing to deliver the cats to their new homes and help the caregivers know how best to care for them. They will need adequate warm and dry shelter, food every day and to be kept as safe as possible. In exchange, they can offer expert rodent control and a level of companionship.

They are of course spayed/neutered and fully vaccinated. Please go to https://www.northbeachpaws.org/copy-of-available-cats if you are interested.
__________________
When adopted, all of our cats and kittens have been spayed/neutered and tested for FeLV/FIV. Their vaccinations are current, they have been treated for fleas and worms, they are ID chipped and they have had a wellness check by our veterinarian.

At this time, our adoption process is primarily by appointment only. However, we are ‘open’ to visitors on Saturdays. If Saturdays don’t work for you, let us know! We are happy to arrange an appointment on other days of the week, or in the evening, if it will help you connect with your next best furry friend. If you are considering adopting, PLEASE COMPLETE AN ADOPTION APPLICATION PRIOR TO MAKING AN APPOINTMENT. This will help to make the process easier and faster.

If you are not sure of which cat or kitten you might want to select, just indicate 'adult cat' or 'kitten', or ‘undecided’. To access our Adoption Form visit: https://www.northbeachpaws.org/copy-of-available-cats.
Please contact our adoption coordinator at 360-660-4658 or via email at nbpawscats@gmail.com if you have questions about the process, or one of our cats or kittens.
