Wooten's Story

Meet Wooten! Wooten came to us as a former outside cat. His caretakers were moving away, and hated the idea of leaving him to fend for himself. To be honest, he probably wouldn't do very well on his own - he is a very lazy boy who prefers to just kick back and chill. His considerable size definitely came from hand-outs, not his hunting prowess. Anyone with a mustache as dapper as his isn't going to be caught dead eating mice. He's a distinguished gentleman, and he knows it.

Wooten is a super sweet guy who loves to cuddle. He's laid-back, and never starts any beef with the others. He mostly keeps to himself, or hangs out by the scratching posts. He loves getting attention on adoption day - when he's awake, that is. He'll snooze through most of the dogs barking and cats meowing for attention, only to perk up when someone opens his kennel. He loves scritches and will waggle his booty around for them.

We think Wooten would be fine with other cats or children. He has not been tested with dogs.

Wooten is estimated to be 6 years old as of October 2025. He has been neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. With an approved application, his adoption fee is $10.60.

If you are interested in adopting this particular dog or puppy, please see our Adoption Guidelines at http://www.humanesocietyall.com/applications/ .
