Woon's Story
Woon is a male Domestic Short-Haired Tiger Cat who is looking for a new home. He came to the shelter after his former owner went through a divorce and had to move. He is great with people and has been around other cats, dogs, and children according to his former owner. Woon is blind in one eye but that doesn't seem to affect his personality at all. He is just around a year old. If interested in meeting him please call (419) 294-4477 Ext. 3 from 9am to 5pm to schedule an appointment.

WCHS Adoptions are a 2-Step Process

Step 1— Visit our shelter! (Appointments Required)
The animal of your choice will be reserved for you at the time of scheduling. (Prospective adopters may be shown multiple animals, subject to availability.)

Step 2— Pick up your new pet!
Pickups are generally 3-5 business days after completing adoption paperwork at your in-person appointment. This allows HOPE Clinic time to prep your new pet for their forever home, including spay/neuter surgery (if not already fixed), a microchip, vaccines, and other care depending on the species. Once the animal is ready, we'll call you to coordinate pickup! (Pickup times are generally in the evenings.)

*Return Policy: If an adopter cannot keep an adopted pet for any reason, the animal must be returned to WCHS. Because of our strict return policy, adoptions to homes more than 100 miles away will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
