WOODSON's Story

<p>It never surprise when volunteer Jenny Pullen contacts me because yet another friendly stray wandered into her SE side home.&nbsp; Typically though she doesn't bring me big beautiful BOY cats though, so I WAS pleasantly surprised on January 22nd, 2013 when she presented this gorgeous gray guy to me.&nbsp; Born in early 2008 we are thinking, we have no idea where he came from, but no one in her neighborhood had heard of him or seen him around, so she is thinking he may have been dumped off, as her reputation for rescuing is quite apparent.&nbsp; He was neutered, thank goodness, but had fleas and needed a dental cleaning.&nbsp; He was a bit out of his element with the other cats at first, so I suspect he was either outdoors for a bit or came from a single-cat household.&nbsp; However, after a bit of time at Crash's, he mellowed on out and discovered that he was quite fond of his new surroundings.</p><br/><p>I think Woodson would really do well in an adult home without lots of ruckus and organized chaos;&nbsp; he strikes me as the type of dignified gentleman who would like to spend his afternoons lazily reclining on the sofa, and the evenings curled up next to a toasty fire.&nbsp; i don't think another cat would bother him in the least, but I don't think he would mind being the king of his very own castle.&nbsp;&nbsp; He really does relish in one-on-one time and would make a striking counterpart to anyone who wants a solid, sturdy, stable feline fella to call their own.</p>
