Batman & Wonder Woman — Two Friendly Survivors Looking for a Safe Place<br/><br/>Batman and Wonder Woman have had a rough start to life, and we are hoping that their next chapter will be a much happier one. <br/><br/>A few months ago, a kind local woman began trapping a small family of cats living outdoors. The family included a mother, Black Canary, and her four kittens: The Flash, Batman, Superman, and Wonder Woman.<br/><br/>One of the kittens, The Flash, came into rescue and is now being cared for in a foster home. Unfortunately, their brother Superman was killed by a car. <br/><br/>Batman and Wonder Woman remained outdoors with their mother, where they have been cared for by their dedicated trapper and feeder. They have been spayed/neutered and vaccinated, and despite growing up outside, they have shown that they are very friendly with the person who cares for them.<br/><br/>In fact, if their feeder didn't already have a very grumpy resident cat who prefers being an only child, she would bring them home herself.<br/><br/>Unfortunately, their outdoor life has become increasingly dangerous. They have been threatened by people in their neighborhood, and we desperately want to get these two off the streets before something happens to them.<br/><br/> Batman<br/><br/>Batman is a handsome black-and-white boy with a sweet face and a gentle personality. He's comfortable with his feeder and has shown that he enjoys human companionship.<br/><br/> Wonder Woman<br/><br/>Wonder Woman is a beautiful black girl who, like her brother, is friendly with the person who has been caring for her. She may need a little patience and time to adjust to a new environment, but she has already shown us that there is a sweet cat underneath her outdoor-cat exterior.<br/><br/>We believe these two have options.<br/><br/>They could be wonderful candidates for a safe barn or working-cat placement, where they could continue to have access to the outdoors while being protected from the dangers of their current neighborhood.<br/><br/>But we'd also love to see them get the chance to become indoor cats. Someone who understands that cats who have lived outside may need a little time to adjust could discover two wonderful companions. They don't have to become lap cats overnight. They just need someone willing to give them the opportunity to learn what a safe home feels like.<br/><br/>Batman and Wonder Woman are not disposable outdoor cats. They are young cats who have survived a difficult beginning and deserve the chance to be safe. <br/><br/>They have already lost their brother Superman. We don't want to lose them, too.<br/><br/>If you have a safe barn, farm, or other appropriate placement—or if you are an experienced cat person willing to give Batman and/or Wonder Woman the patience they need to transition to indoor life—please consider giving these beautiful cats a chance.<br/><br/>They have been spayed/neutered and vaccinated and are ready for a safer future. <br/><br/>Batman and Wonder Woman are currently being cared for outdoors and are in urgent need of a safe placement.
