Wolfie's Story

Foster Home Needed for Wolfie

Wolfie is a handsome, gentle soul looking for a foster home where he can continue building his confidence at his own pace.

City Critters rescued this gorgeous boy after he was abandoned in a tiny pocket park on Wall Street, where he survived by hiding in the bushes while a kind passerby made sure he had food. Now safely off the streets, Wolfie is learning that people can be trusted.

While he's still shy around humans, Wolfie has a sweet, quiet nature and truly enjoys the company of other cats. He's making steady progress and will happily come over for a tasty treat or a Churu as he continues to gain confidence. Every small step he takes is a victory.

Right now, Wolfie's biggest need is a foster home that can help him manage his weight. He has a hard time resisting other cats' food, so he'd do best as the only cat or in a home where he can be separated from resident cats during mealtimes. Once the food is put away, he's perfectly content to relax and nap the day away.

Wolfie is about 3 years old, neutered, fully vaccinated, and negative for FIV and FeLV. He's a good, gentle cat who simply missed out on early socialization and needs someone who understands that trust can't be rushed.

If you have a quiet home and can give Wolfie the time, patience, and structure he needs to thrive, we'd love to hear from you.
