WINTER's Story

WINTER is the last of 12 cats rescued from Philadelphia where their colony got destroyed by a developer. She is a 3-year old spayed, tested, vaccinated and littertrained femalewaiting to find her forever home now that she is safe. Winter would be best as an only cat, although she will tolerate other cats. She is not a lap cat but loves following her humans around the house and lying or sitting next to them. She likes to be petted in small doses. She will come up to you, lie next to you, and roll around belly up for you. She will occasionally let you pet her belly and will let you know if she gets overstimulated by that. She has made tremendous progress and can now be picked up, although she wiggles to be put back down. She will rub up against you. She has her playful moments, and some quiet moments of sitting on a cat tree and looking out the window. She is a lovely companion.

Our Mission
We are a home-based cat and kitten rescue that finds loving forever homes for lucky, fully vetted, wonderful cats and kittens. We never put down cats--they stay with us, cage free, until they can become a new member of a loving family. We also place some cats that reside at foster homes or at our spay/neuter clinic until so...
