Her story with us began when she was found outside, starving and heavily pregnant. With nowhere else to go and every search for rescue coming up empty, Winnie came to Huss Haven, and we're so glad she did.<br/><br/>Shortly after her spay surgery, Winnie became sick, which unfortunately led to painful oral ulcers and severe stomatitis. Due to the severe infection and pain in her mouth, she ultimately needed to have all of her teeth removed. She handled everything like an absolute angel and has since recovered beautifully. She was an angel at the vet and is so loved by everybody who meets her. Today, Winnie is happy, comfortable, and finally ready for the best part of her story: finding her forever family!<br/><br/>Having no teeth doesn’t slow Winnie down one bit! The only adjustment she needs is a wet-food-only diet, which Winnie is absolutely thrilled about. This girl LOVES her food and happily scarfs down every meal. Churus are also one of her favorite treats! And there is one bonus to adopting a toothless kitty... you’ll never have to pay for a dental!<br/><br/>Winnie craves love and affection 24/7. She starts making biscuits the moment you give her attention and has been known to drool from pure happiness while being pet. She will need someone who will love her the same! She is incredibly sweet, trusting, and just wants to be close to her people.<br/><br/>Winnie would absolutely love to be your one-and-only, soaking up all the love and attention for herself. That said, we’ve recently started introducing her to other cats and dogs, and she’s doing well! With slow, proper introductions with furry friends who will respect her space, we think she could happily coexist with other pets in her forever home.<br/><br/>Winnie spent the beginning of her life simply trying to survive.
