I'm not a good candidate for a busy, active household with small children or many pets. Adults will need to be active partners in my upbringing and day to day experience. I've got a lot to learn, but I'd be fine with cat-experienced adults and an older child with some recent experience with a very young kitten. Don't know anything at all about dogs, so if you have one, it should be completely cat neutral. I'd be a good choice for a cat-experienced older child's first special pet.
