She will be shy when meeting new people, but once she is settled with you in your home, you won't be a stranger for long. As she warms up, her true personality shines through, revealing a total lap kitty who will gladly give back all the affection you shower on her.<br/><br/>At just one year old, she still has a wonderful, playful side! Winifred knows what she wants out of life, and that means being the queen of her castle. She strongly prefers to be an only pet—no other cats or dogs, please—so she can enjoy all your love and attention.<br/><br/>Her perfect family will have the patience to let her come out of her shell at her own natural pace. Our policy is to adopt kittens in pairs. We find that kittens are much happier when they have a companion and they tend to expend their youthful energy on each other rather than on your couch!
