Wilma's Story

Wilma is a young, bright-eyed kitty with a personality that will steal your heart the moment you meet her. Overflowing with affection, this sweet girl adores cuddles, head rubs, and being close to her humans.

This talkative girl will greet you at the door and follow you to the ends of the Earth! Her foster mom appreciates the long-winded conversations she has every day with Wilma (who loves to tell you exactly what she's thinking). Whether you’re working from home or relaxing on the couch, Wilma will be right there on your lap ready to chat with you about your day.

While being fostered, Wilma has become quite an explorer and loves having time outside on her harness. Watching butterflies, chewing on grass, rolling around, and patrolling the yard (safely by your side, of course) are some of her favorite hobbies. When indoors, she entertains herself by looking out the window and finding fun with anything that jingles, rolls, or dangles. Wilma loves catnip toys, scratchers, and all things fuzzy.

Wilma is FIV positive, but don’t let that scare you—cats with FIV can live long, healthy lives with proper care. She just needs a low-stress, loving home to thrive in. Wilma would do best as the only pet (she’s not a fan of dogs and prefers to be the queen of her castle), or possibly with another calm, FIV+ feline companion.

If you're looking for a devoted companion who’s equal parts affectionate and adventurous, Wilma is your girl. Come meet her and see how quickly she’ll charm her way into your heart! Wilma is truly a special girl who deserves a home to call her own.

Reach out to us for an application via email CAHmadison@gmail.com!

An approved application must be in place before scheduling a meet & greet.
Please plan your meet and greet when you are ready to welcome your new companion into the home within 7 days of applying.

Our adoption fee includes spaying/neutering, microchipping, deworming, parasite prevention, and all up to date vaccinations.
