Willow & Wisteria's Story

***WILLOW AND WISTERIA MUST BE ADOPTED TOGETHER.***

Willow (brown tabby) and Wisteria (silver tabby) are bonded sisters looking for their furever home! These sweet kittens came to be with OMC! Rescue after their person suddenly passed away. Their mama is a purebred Maine Coon who got out of the house before she was spayed and had a "secret rendezvous" with a tomcat. (She has since been spayed and adopted by a family member.)

At nearly 5 months old, Willow and Wisteria are typical kittens — curious, active, and playful! They love all kinds of toys, including jingle balls, crinkly balls, and wand toys. They also love to wrestle with each other! When the sisters aren't wrestling or running around playing, they can be found taking a snooze — usually together! (Their motto is, "Play hard, rest harder!") They also groom each other, which is super cute!

Both girls are friendly and affectionate, although Willow is more outgoing. She likes to be front and center, supervising what's going on around her, while Wisteria is more of an observer. Willow is also a total lap cat — and that must be rubbing off on Wisteria because she's starting to enjoy lying in people's laps, too!

Willow and Wisteria currently live with several other cats, as well as dogs. They've been fine with the cats, but they haven't had any interactions with the dogs, who are big and somewhat boisterous. They would likely be OK with a calm dog. The sisters have never been around children before, but they would probably be fine with young kids who are cat savvy.

Both girls are up to date on their vaccinations, and they have tested negative for FeLV/FIV. They haven't been spayed yet, but they will be before they're adopted. The sisters also have wonderful manners and always use their litter box.

Willow and Wisteria are located in Burke, Virginia. If you are interested in adopting them, please fill out an adoption application on our website: https://omcrescue.rescuegroups.org/forms/form?formid=6177. You may also e-mail us at info@omcrescue.org if you have any questions or would like to learn more about the girls.
