Willow's Story

AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION – TNR NORTH PLATTE

Meet Willow!

You might be wondering how Willow got her name... Well, she was found on top of the Willow viaduct back in August.

She was completely feral, absolutely terrified, and so unsure of people. But even through all that fear, she remained sweet. It took her quite a while to come around, but once she finally decided humans might not be so bad... OH MY GOODNESS!

Now she’s just the sweetest girl!!!!!!!!!!!!! And I never, ever want to think of her having to fend for herself outside again.

Here’s what Willow is looking for in her forever home:

Willow may need a little time to adjust, so she’ll need a patient family who will let her settle in at her own pace.

Cat friends: She needs another cat or two to keep her company. She can be a bit of a loner, but she still enjoys having other cats around.

Indoor ONLY: After everything she’s been through, I never want this girl outside again. She deserves a safe, loving home for the rest of her life!

Dogs: She should be fine with calm dogs. Hyper, overly excited dogs probably wouldn’t be a good fit for her.

Children: Older, respectful children who understand how to be gentle and kind to animals should be fine.

The essentials: Lots of toys, yummy food, cozy places to nap, and most importantly...
