Willow's Story
Willow is a lovely tabby girl with big, doe-like green eyes that seem to look right into your heart. She came to us just before Christmas Eve after being transferred from an overcrowded shelter, along with her sister, Pearl. While Willow and Pearl do not have to be adopted together, we always like adopters to know when cats arrive with a littermate in case keeping siblings together is something they may wish to consider.

As a tabby, Willow comes with all the wonderful traits people often associate with these cats. Tabbies are widely believed to be friendly, gentle and intelligent, with easygoing personalities that make them wonderful companions. Many people also believe tabby cats bring good luck and tend to form strong bonds with their families.

Before arriving here, Willow and Pearl spent time in a loving foster home. Their foster mom shared the following insight:
"Willow and her sister Pearl are very sweet and social. Willow is a little more shy. Both love Friskies pate. They came from a home with multiple cats and two dogs."

Willow's slightly shy nature means she may appreciate a patient, kind adopter who will give her a little time to settle in. But her sweetness shines through once she feels comfortable. If you're looking for a gentle, soulful tabby with expressive eyes and a loving heart, Willow may be the perfect addition to your home. Come meet her...and her sister, Pearl, too!

The shelter is open Tuesdays through Fridays 3:30-6:30pm AND Saturdays & Sundays 1pm-4pm. No appointments are needed during those times. If you are not available during those times, special arrangements for a meet and greet may be able to be arranged by emailing arfcats@bereaanimalrescue.com. Thank you for considering the adoption of a shelter animal in need!
