Willow's Story
Hi. I’m Willow.

I’m only 1.5 years old... but I’ve been at the shelter since last July. That’s a long time for a young girl like me to be waiting. I’ve watched other cats pack their bags and leave with families while I’m still here, trying to understand why no one has picked me yet.

Maybe it’s because I have a big personality.

I’m playful and curious. I like to explore, chase toys, and keep myself entertained. I’m also independent — I don’t need to be glued to you every second. And yes... I can be a little bossy. And maybe a tiny bit sassy. But that just means I know what I like.

I’m also pretty vocal. If I have something to say, I’m going to say it. I think communication is important in relationships, don’t you?

I would really prefer to be your one and only cat. I like being the queen of my castle — sharing the spotlight just isn’t my thing. Older kids would be best for me too, since they’ll understand that sometimes a confident girl just needs her space.

But here’s the thing... underneath my sass and independence, I’m friendly. I want attention. I want someone to talk to me and laugh at my little quirks. I want a home where I don’t have to watch other cats leave anymore.

I’m ready to go home. Are you ready for me?

If you are interested in adopting, please fill put an application online at ahimsahaven.org .

Meet and greets are with an approved application by appointment only.

As always, cats that are ready to be adopted are spayed/neutered, have age appropriate shots, are micro-chipped, dewormed/deflead, and FEL/FIV tested.
