Willie's Story

Willie is a large ticked tabby cat in brown and black with a very interesting personality. He started out life as a shy feral in Hamlin, NY as part of an outdoor cat colony fed by a farmer. He and his brothers were trapped and vetted in 2025 by a cat rescuer, and Willie came to live with me and my other ferals and rescues. Gradually over the first year inside, he became very friendly and affectionate, and he now loves sleeping near me, asks for pets, rubs against my legs when I'm standing, and often gently swats me in the shoe for more petting when I step away. Willie is a transformed guy! He is large and lovely and would benefit from a home where he can get plenty of love and attention. Willie gets along well with other cats, and I'm rehoming him only because I already care for several other rescued kitties and had planned to find Willie his own home when he became sociable, which he now is. Willie deserves his own dedicated person who isn't dividing her time with other rescued cats. He is a big love!
