Meet our sweet 9 year old senior, Willie. Willie was surrendered to rescue in a lot of pain due to tooth decay. Once in rescue, he required two extensive dental visits with several teeth extractions. Although the healing process has been tough on him, he’s bouncing back beautifully! Willie is quite the character with a lot of personality. He is so happy when his foster mom spends time with him in his room – he meows & scratches his scratching post like crazy as if to say, 'YAY! I’ve got company!' Then he'll settle in on her lap (he knows she’s tired after work) and curls up, loving to hang out and chill. Willie has his own room as he likes to be the only cat in the house. He needs a pet free home, with lots of ZEN… A very calm environment and a family experienced with cats is the perfect fit! Willie is also on a ‘wet food only’ diet for his urinary health – he was previously having potty/litterbox related issues before being surrendered but now uses his litterbox like a champ. This guys has been through a lot and has some special needs/requirements, but he’s soooo worth it. He’s a quirky, fun little dude to have around & will be missed once he's adopted BUT we’re excited for him to find his forever home so he can enjoy his golden years in kitty bliss!<br/><br/>To meet Willie, please email: savedbyawhiskerrescue@gmail.com<br/><br/>Adoption Fees: All of our cats are spayed/neutered, micro-chipped, vaccinated (as age appropriate), tested for Feline Leukemia/FIV, given flea/tick & heartworm preventative, & fecal tested (dewormed if needed) before being adopted out. The adoption fee is $250 including tax; adoptive homes are given all vet records at the adoption.
