Widget

Widget is a funky little indoor cat that used to live as a stray. He was rescued by a retired veteran who helped get him get treatment for an injured paw. On being returned to the outdoors, Widget decided he liked the indoor life much better! The veteran took care of him as long as he could, allowing Widget to live indoors as a bar cat for a while, but a bar is no place for a cat. Widget was taken in by a foster where he resides currently. <br/><br/>Widget wouldn’t harm a fly. He gets along well with other cats and humans as long as they move slow to start. Widget’s best defense when he gets scared is to curl up in the smallest ball he can form. His best friend is a fluffy ostrich stuffed animal that he snuggles to sleep. He would do best in a household that either has no children, or children older than 11/12. He loves affection, and will rub and bump his head into your hand for as long as you are willing to pet him. He likes to hop up and down on his rear legs when he knows he’s about to be fed. When he meows, it’s so quiet it sounds like it’s coming from another room!<br/><br/>Widget has been traveling from place to place, and would love more than anything to be placed in a forever home with people that have a lot of patience and love to give.
