Whisper (this is an oddball!)'s Story
To meet Whisper, please text 214 621 1139

Meet little Whisper - our oddball of a kitty. There is a Walmart parking lot cat colony in Plano where several feral cats are scrambling around for food among dangerous traffic and cars. Little Whisper was barely 7 weeks old when she was also found starving and trying to make her way in the world. We don't know how she managed to scrounge around for enough food to survive. Even at 7 weeks, she was a tough cookie. It took a seasoned trapper to catch this canny one.

Whisper went into foster care and have been loved and pampered ever since. However, it appears that the feral genes are strong in this one and despite all efforts to cuddle her, Whisper prefers to settle next to her caregivers but turns her cute nose up at all offers for contact or hugs. The domestic side of her loves being an indoor cat where food is plentiful and fuzzy blankets are everywhere.

We are looking for a loving family who understands the independent nature of the colony cat. Whisper enjoys a comfortable home life and believes that her beauty and grace are enough to earn her keep in snacks and high-quality food. Just like British royalty, she is appalled at any attempts to grab and cuddle her. This is a kitty that will happily lounge on your softest cushion or fluffiest blankets and slow blink her way into your heart. She leaves the door open for high hopes that the day will come when she willingly leaps into your lap and accepts it as her rightful place. But until that day comes, you just have to keep loving her and bribing her with yummy snacks. Are you that family? If yes, contact us so we can show this haughty little creature to you.

To Meet and Greet Whisper, please copy and paste the link into your browser to fill out this application form so we can schedule a meeting:

https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSdf3ebq7POP7EcSJGQV-GK9GThtux4SYMGV9jqWyQJyq7M1KQ/viewform

Please note the following: We always do vet reference checks and we WILL NOT adopt kittens or cats into household where the residential pets are unvaccinated. This is to ensure the safety of BOTH our kitten/cat and your current pets. We also only adopt locally and will reserve the right to deny Meet and Greet as our volunteers cannot do any home visits if the distance is too great.
