Hi there, I'm Whisper and I am 4 years old! I'm a very soft, very round 26-pound lady who has had quite the journey. I was left at PCAPS when my people moved. By the time I arrived, my long grey tabby fur was so matted it clung to my skin. But even through it all, I never stopped purring. I'm gentle, quiet, and happiest when I'm near a kind human who will stroke my cheeks and tell me I'm safe now. I love people! If you sit down, I will waddle over, flop beside you, and purr my big happy purr. I don't need much, just love, soft words, and someone loyal to be my forever family. Because I am such a big girl, I do need a home that will help me lose some weight slowly and carefully, so it doesn't hurt my liver. And since my fur needs a little extra help to stay clean, I'm looking for someone patient and gentle--someone who won't mind brushing me or helping with the hard-to-reach spots.
