Despite a delicate name, Whisper is 23 lbs of cat! This oversized fella is about 7-years-old and working on his diet plan (he is not loving it). <br/><br/>Whisper was recently found when his owner passed away and Whisper was left in the home. While shy to start, Whisper is a gentle cat who is looking for a quiet home.<br/><br/>Whisper was the only animal in his previous home. He doesn't seem too bothered by other cats in the space around him so he may be ok with slow introductions to other pets in the home. <br/><br/>A cat with a kind soul, Whisper will blossom in his new home. <br/><br/>We do NOT respond to PetFinder inquires; we only respond to emails sent to adopt@scituateanimalshelter.org regarding adoption inquires. <br/><br/>We never know how quickly a pet will be adopted. Therefore, if you are interested in a pet but want to see them during our shelter open hours prior to filling out an application, we strongly recommend that you email us at adopt@scituateanimalshelter.org before visiting the shelter to ensure they are still there. <br/><br/>Open hours are Wednesdays 1:30-6pm, and Saturdays and Sundays 10am-2pm for you to come view our adoptable pets. You can apply for animal at the shelter during our open hours or online by emailing adopt@scituateanimalshelter.org and asking for an application. Adoption fees allow our non-profit to continue to help pets in need. <br/><br/>Meet and greets with animals are scheduled after applications have been processed and we’ve determined you are the best fit. We do not operate on a first come, first served basis.
