Psst, we have a secret. Lean in. Closer...closer...WHISPER is still looking for a new home!! <br/><br/>Ok, we’re yelling now. But this cat has been in the shelter since September! It’s time to get a little loud about it. <br/> <br/>Whisper isn’t dainty like his name may imply. This 7-year-old cat is 23 lbs— yeah, he is pretty huge! <br/> <br/>When Whisper first came in he has a bit of a fresh side, a giant cat in a small cage. Thanks to a move into his very own room, Whisper is MUCH happier and becoming a much friendlier cat! <br/> <br/>In his previous home Whisper was the only pet. To set him up to succeed in a new home, we think he would be best suited in a more quiet environment, like his last home. <br/> <br/>This is a long time for a cat to be in the shelter. Please help share Whisper so we can get him into the loving home he is looking for! <br/><br/><br/>We do NOT respond to PetFinder inquires; we only respond to emails sent to adopt@scituateanimalshelter.org regarding adoption inquires. <br/><br/>We never know how quickly a pet will be adopted. Therefore, if you are interested in a pet but want to see them during our shelter open hours prior to filling out an application, we strongly recommend that you email us at adopt@scituateanimalshelter.org before visiting the shelter to ensure they are still there. <br/><br/>Open hours are Wednesdays 1:30-6pm, and Saturdays and Sundays 10am-2pm for you to come view our adoptable pets. You can apply for animal at the shelter during our open hours or online by emailing adopt@scituateanimalshelter.org and asking for an application. Adoption fees allow our non-profit to continue to help pets in need. <br/><br/>Meet and greets with animals are scheduled after applications have been processed and we’ve determined you are the best fit. We do not operate on a first come, first served basis.
