Whiskey's Story
Meet Whiskey!
When this handsome boy was just 1 and a half pounds, he ended up in the middle of a 4 lane highway with a bleeding nose and mouth. He might have fallen out of a car or got pushed around by the flow of oncoming traffic, but he was lucky enough to be spotted by a man in a big truck who pulled over, swooped him up, and saved his life.
We were able to get him to Durango and to our vet right away, who determined that his injuries were just superficial and nothing was broken. Today Whiskey has healed up from his facial wounds and is healthy and so loved. He's been living in his foster home since his arrival here and he's just an awesome kitty! He really loves other cats, so we've been waiting patiently for a home for him with another cat-friendly cat for him to be friends with. He's a little shy of new people but has become comfortable with his foster family and is such a sweetheart! He's also great with dogs and is fully litter box trained and ready for adoption today.
Whiskey is around 5 months old now and is neutered, chipped, and current on his vaccinations. If you'd like more information on him you can call us at 970-749-1968 or submit an adoption application at www.durangoanimalconnection.com/forms-adoption. His adoption fee is $100.
