Whiskers's Story
Meet Whiskers! This sweet older boy is looking for his Christmas miracle. Whiskers was adopted out many years ago, when he was still a young cat. Unfortunately, his owner passed away earlier this year, and Whiskers found himself back in our shelter. Whiskers came in needing medical attention, but now he is doing great and is ready to find a home for the holidays. Whiskers is approximately 10 and a half, and would do best as the only pet in the home. Whiskers is on thyroid medications, needing half a pill twice a day. Whiskers lovers his wet food, and will gladly gobble it up, pill and all! As you may notice, Whiskers did at one point have a medical issue with his eye, but due to the age of the injury and the fact it doesn't cause him any issues, our vet believes there is no concern and there really isn't a treatment for it. Whiskers is quick to warm up to strangers and will make an excellent companion kitty! If you are interested in meeting him, please give us a call at 978-249-2494 or fill out our online application at https://form.jotform.com/253225649824059
