Wendy's Story

Second Star to the Right… and Straight Into Your Heart

Wendy is a beautiful tortie. She’s shy with new people, but with time (and watching other outgoing cats), her confidence blooms. Wendy loves roughhousing with other kitties, chasing fuzzy balls — which she adorably carries around in her mouth — and relaxing in sunny windowsills. While she’s not a big fan of being carried, once she trusts you she’ll happily sleep beside you, soak up pets, and even give sweet little hand kisses. She does well with other cats and has a gentle, loving nature beneath her initial shyness.

Wendy has not had experience with kids or dogs yet, but with patience and love, she will continue to grow into the wonderful companion she is meant to be.

*Please note that most of our kitties will only be adopted out in pairs or to a home with an existing cat or furry companion--dependent upon what is best for them.

If you are interested in adopting Wendy, you can find our Adoption Application and more information about our adoption process at http://www.kittycrusaide.org/adopt.

Kitty CrusAIDe's Adoption Policy
All of our adoptable pets will be spayed/neutered, up-to-date on FVRCP vaccinations, including rabies if applicable, de-wormed, and microchipped, PRIOR to adoption. Our adoption fee is $150 for a single kitten and $225 for a pair of kittens. If you find a feline friend that you'd be interested in learning more about please visit our website at www.kittycrusaide.org to submit an application. All of our animals are in private foster homes so our adoption process is 100% online. First your application will be screened and a short 15-20 minute phone interview will take place. Then one or several virtual meet & greets will be set up to introduce you to kittens that you're interested in and we feel may be a good fit for your home. A virtual home check will take place before bringing your kitten(s) home to ensure everything is safe and set-up for them. Finally, you'll bring home your new best friend! Our cats/kittens are not "first come, first serve" and forever homes are always chosen based on the best fit for each animal.
