Weezer

Weezer came to us with a super sad story for a little kitty. He came from one of the worst trailer parks in Livingston County. He was sick barely able to breathe and the lady who called us to help, said that the whole colony had breathing issues and they never bothered to take them to a vet. First they said he was a inside cat and then slipped up and admitted he was outside all the time. He was skinny and boney and we worried that he never knew a safe happy snuggly night in his life. The lady told us he's been breathing heavy and wheezing his entire existence which is ridiculous as no cat should endure a week of that year alone a year or more. We actually took in more cats from that colony and got them well. It was a matter of some medicine and TLC and he's improved so quickly. <br/><br/> They told us that he belonged to a neighbor and they wanted us to get him back on his feet and give him back to them. The lady said they definitely want him back. He was breathing so bad he couldn't close his mouth. He was skinny, unable to breathe so he could eat, We took him home and he was SO sweet, we felt so bad for him and I decided he was never going back. We got him to a vet and figured out what meds he needed to recover and we luckily, after a few weeks got him on the right track to recovery and they whole time he was so grateful and loving. He snuggles and cuddles, it's almost as if he is thanking us daily by the snuggles and purring. He's finally able to breath and smell his food and eat happily. He's very chill, loves other cats, very much a people person. <br/><br/>He's a great companion.
