Wednesday's Story

This beautiful girl is shy at first but very friendly and sweet once she gets to know you. She is quite close with her friend Enid so we would like them to be adopted as a pair. Wednesday has the most gorgeous green eyes, accented with ginger eyeliner. When she looks into your eyes, you feel as though she is communicating something spiritual, in the way that cats do. She may be descended from Bastet, and certainly she believes she is a goddess meant to be worshipped. She is affectionate, calm except when her tortitude is aroused, and a bit of a couch potato when compared to her bonded sister Enid. It shows in her pudgy little belly. She has been nicknamed Wendy, or Pudge. She is playful, but in a quieter way than athletic Enid, and will defer to Enid during play sessions with a human. The two of them wrestle and play chase for long periods, then nestle together to rest. Once Wendy gets to know a person, she allows herself to be picked up for loving and will stick around for as long as you will worship her. She gives hand kisses instead of nose kisses. She is suspicious of unknown food, and doesn't like Temptations treats. Wendy uses the scratching posts, will often come to her name or a whistle, and waits by the back door for the dog to come in from the yard. She may be envious of his outdoor time, but has not tried to escape. At night, Wendy likes to sleep with Foster Mom and Foster Brother (the dog).
