Weaver's Story
Weaver sits quietly and waits his turn like a nice polite boy until you speak to him or give him a pat on the head. Then he just lights up and leans into the petting, closing his eyes and becoming one with your hand like it may be the last touch he'll ever get. He is such a kind, gently, giving kitty. And so overlooked because he is not pushy or loud or overly animated. Weaver is a thinker. He sits back and studies things, never one to be impetuous. He can be playful but is stoic more often than not. He gets along great with other cats and is extremely tolerant.

One of his eyes is a darker gold color than the other, which can happen to kittens when their eyes change from blue to a color. It can also be caused by a respiratory virus as a kitten. He is sighted and has no issues but adopters often pass him by because of his imperfect looks. Some people though have commented that it makes him look unique and is a plus. He has been waiting patiently for a home with such grace for so long, Weaver was found as a stray at a dumpster and brought to LCSPCA on 8/3/23 at age 5 months. These photos and the video were updated 6/25/25 when Weaver was 2 years 3 months old.

He really is such a nice cat and would be so grateful and loyal to whomever would give him a chance at a life outside these cage walls. Neutered, vaccinated & Felv/FIV tested, Weaver is ready to go! Won’t you consider helping this little man? Please call (434) 374-8076 or email lakecountryspca@yahoo.com.
