Wanda (Tri-pawd)'s Story

Meet the sweetest little tri-pawd kitten!
Prior to her arrival at Mazie's Mission Rescue at around 12 weeks old, Wanda sustained an unknown injury that caused nerve damage to her front left leg. After careful treatment and consideration by the Mazie's veterinary team, Wanda's leg was recently amputated as it could not be rehabbed to full functionality. This has not slowed her down or altered her fun & exuberant personality, and will allow for a better quality of life for her long-term. Who needs 4 legs when you're so great on 3?!

She's a sweet, petite, playful, mischievous, talkative, bird enthusiast and expert under the covers cuddle buddy with a purr like a boat motor; an avid TV watcher who's built for speed with a love for feed.

While Wanda would not be opposed to being an only cat, she would thrive and do best in a forever home with a buddy as she loves to play, snuggle, and keep company with her foster brother & sister. She will likely need a slow introduction (as most cats do) but will adjust with some time to warm up to a new companion. Wanda is wary of dogs (of any size) but in the right environment, a calm or well-behaved canine friend is not out of the question. She is not accustomed to the noises and excitement a home shared with younger, smaller children usually offers and would do best in a more quiet environment with older children or teenagers.

Wanda has been spayed, microchipped, and fully vaccinated!
