Despite the hardship he’s endured, Walter’s spirit remains incredibly gentle; he is the definition of a "sweet old man" who asks for nothing more than a warm meal and a hand to pet his head. He has traded the energy of youth for a quiet, soulful devotion, and he is now ready to spend his golden years being cherished in a home where he will never have to worry about being left behind again.
