Walnut 's Story

Walnut, aka Wally, is looking for a quiet retirement home where he can be left to his own devices. He doesn't mind people and other cats, but he definitely prefers to be on his own. He likes to be pet, but does not seek out attention and often still runs from people. When he was trapped, he was already ear tipped but in really bad shape. He was sick, needed a dental, and his eye was wonky. He is now all healed, including having most of his teeth removed, besides his left eye; his left eyelids are paralyzed and do not move. His third eye lids still move and blink, and there is still vision in the eye itself. Due to his age we did not release him back outside and instead hope someone will open their heart and home to this scraggly old man!
