Wallace's Story

Meet Wallace 🐾💛
Wallace is a soft-spoken, gentle little soul with a quiet charm that draws you in. Most of the time she’s calm and content, happy to observe the world or curl up nearby—but every so often, she surprises everyone with bursts of big zoomies that show off her playful spirit. One of her favorite spots is perched on your shoulders, riding along like a tiny, purring parrot and taking in everything from above. Wallace is also a true fighter; she survived a serious illness as a baby and came out the other side stronger and sweeter than ever. This resilient girl has so much love to give and is ready for a forever home where she can continue to thrive 💕🐱

adoption fee is $65 and includes:
Spay
Age-appropriate vaccines
Deworming
Flea/tick preventions
FIV/FeLV testing
Microchip

Upon interest for a pet, the potential adopter will receive an adoption application via email. The application is returned, filled out, and process within 24-48 hours. A phone interview will follow, and all adopters are notified of status via phone call. Upon approval, a signed adoption contract and adoption fee must be received prior to sending the animal home. Adoption fees (with exceptions) are typically $65, which covers all vet care and surgery the animal receives while in Homeward Bound's care. All pets adopted out by Homeward Bound are spayed or neutered, have age-appropriate vaccinations, have been screened for diseases, and have been FIV/FeLV tested. They have spent at least 14 days in Mississippi homes in foster care and have been treated for any medical conditions. All animals have been properly vetted according to their needs and started on flea/tick/heartworm preventatives prior to being sent to their new homes!
