Waifer and Gamin's Story
Waifer is a mother cat who had two litters of kittens and spent two Winters outside before being rescued. She had horrible frostbite injury to her pads on her paws, on top of the disease pododermatitis. All of the pads on her feet were swollen crusted and peeling off. She spent a couple of months at the rescue getting lots of tender loving care and medical help for her feet to heal. She would love to get adopted with her shy son Gamin. He is about 5 months old. He is timid but very loving and has a huge purr when you stroke him. They must be 100% indoor kitties. If you're interested in adoption please call Sonya at 902-469-6369 and email katsonya@accesswave.ca to get an application. <br/>They have been tested for feline leukemia and fiv, vaccinated with boosters, spayed and neutered, microchipped and treated for parasites. The adoption fee for an adult cat is $275 and a kitten is $350. Normally the combined price would be $625 but we will offer this pair for $600. We can't offer further discount because we have spent a lot of money at the vet getting them healthy. Serious inquiries only please. They would not do well in a home with the dog or a very young children. They get along wonderfully with other cats.
