WAFFLES's Story
Originally, WAFFLES came in with three other kittens. Three were adopted, but WAFFLES is still waiting for a new home.
WAFFLES was adopted to a young lady with roommates, who also had cats. She was returned to the shelter because she could not get along with the other cats in the home. She has always been an energetic girl, so she may have been too much for the other cats to handle, or she may have been bullied and retaliated. We do not know, but she is not fond of her roommates at the shelter and has been known to swat them when they get in her way.

WAFFLES is very playful and especially loves to bat around the small plastic ball with the bell in it. She can be a bit of a wild child while she plays, so should not go to a home with young children. Once she has let out some energy, she also likes your attention. Playtime has to come first, though! Older children, over 12, would probably be ok, as long as they know not to push her if she is over-stimulated. WAFFLES should be an only kitty and would probably be fine on her own during the day as she easily entertains herself with her kitty toys.

WAFFLES injured her paw and as a result has a permanent limp.

To Adopt WAFFLES, Open Hours are Mondays and Wednesdays, 4:00pm to 7:00pm, Saturdays, 10:00am to 1:00pm. or call to arrange an appointment at 231-773-3030.
