Tommy is a very sweet, shy 11⁄2-year-old cat with a mild case of cerebellar hypoplasia (CH). His CH doesn't slow him down much—it just gives him a slightly wobbly charm that makes him extra endearing. If you're not familiar with CH, it doesn't get better or worse, it just is what it is. It is usually caused when the mother cat is exposed to a virus during pregnancy. CH is sometimes called “wobbly cat” syndrome.<br/><br/>Tommy is gentle by nature and does well with children. With a little patience and love, he blossoms into a loyal and affectionate companion.

Whiskers Pet Rescue's Adoption Policy

All of our cats and kittens are tested for FIV and FeLV and receive age-appropriate vaccines. They are spayed/neutered at 4 months of age. Younger kittens come with a voucher (included in their adoption fee) that may be redeemed for a free spay/neuter at Southbury Veterinary Hospital. Approved application and vet reference (or an interview, if you don't have a vet) required to adopt.
